DR. LADY HAS SOME NEW THINGS IN THE WORKS

DR LADY of the Horror Hotel in Ohio has some horrifying new projects in the works. The long-awaited follow-up album to Horror Hotel’s successful “Cacoffiny” CD is finally complete and scheduled for release in late winter or early spring of ‘07. The new CD, officially titled HORROR HOTEL II: GHOUL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT, offers an hour of all new spooky music and sound FX. DR LADY says the new album has been in the planning stages for the last four years and has been repeatedly delayed for minor changes to the music, improvements in the sound FX and recording processes, and numerous re-recordings of DR LADY’s “Haunter’s Lament” song. This track and the barnyard death metal number “Kill The Chicken” are the only two tracks on HORROR HOTEL II to contain actual lyrics, with the remaining 21 tracks devoted to various musical stylings by John “Wolfie” Hamrick accented and blended with different horror and sci-fi sounds.

The first official DVD of DR LADY’s late-night horror movie host cable TV show, THE LATE DR LADY SHOW, is also in its final stages of preparation. THE LATE DR LADY SHOW VOLUME 1: THE PRE-SEQUEL features 90 minutes’ worth of comedy-horror “skits and bits” from the series (no actual movie) written by and starring David (Dr”) Lady as himself, along with his werewolf co-host Wolfie, vampiric wife Laura Lady, and Kellie Hamilton as Ilean their (possibly human) maid. The show takes place at HORROR HOTEL, thus tying it in with the Ladys’ annual haunted attraction. Lady says the disc brings viewers ‘the definitive presentation of many of our least-embarrassing moments” and he promises “it doesn’t have any boring, pretentious, pat-ourselves-on-the-back commentaries, either.” Interested parties may check out http://groups.msn.com/TheLateDRLADYSHOW or write to Horror Hotel at 6977 Sandusky Avenue, Chatfield, OH 44825 for more frightening information.

This is great news! I just love the fact that they have branched out and have found other niches that all tie into their Horror Hotel.
