Frank for President
New Presidential Candidate Announced
Frank N. Stein, of the Haunted House Association, has officially announced his candidacy for President of the United States
New York, NY - September XX, 2008 - Franklin “Frank” N. Stein today announced that he has officially accepted the nomination of the Haunted House Association to be their candidate for the 2008 Presidential election. Frank, who first rose to fame in an unauthorized biography from opposition lobbyist Mary Shelley in the late 19th century, made the announcement late Sunday evening from his laboratory rooftop surrounded by family and angry villagers.
Frank recently came into the public eye with his new book, “Frank N. Stein: The Man Behind the Monster who is Stitching Together a New America”, which jumped to #1 on the monster memoirs best-seller list. He has since been maintaining an active blog presence on www.FrankNStein2008.com where he allows the voting public to pick his borrowed brain on the important issues. Among those issues are:
- The need for alternative energy sources - Frank was created from lightning and highly endorses its daily use.
- A strong international presence - Frank stands over 8 feet tall and is a foreboding diplomat.
- Environmental awareness - Frank is made of 100% recycled body parts.
- The importance of moral responsibility in public office - Frank is a hideous monster and doesn’t date often.
- Gun control - Frank believes all weapons, including pitchforks and torches, threaten the common public good.
“The world is a scary place and it needs a scary President,” said Frank N. Stein from his recent campaign stop at the Netherworld Haunted House in Atlanta, GA. “I respect Sen. Obama and Sen. McCain a great deal, yet neither want to acknowledge my presence in this race and both have labeled me a renegade and inexperienced. I welcome an open dialogue between all parties and only as one united front will we be able to scare some sense back into the American voting public.”
In a recent five-point plan released by the Frank N. Stein campaign, they have listed their mandate as SCARE:
- Scream for change
- Challenge the status quo
- Attack crime and poverty
- Re-establish a monster middle class
- Educate the public on villager abuses
Always an advocate of continued education, the Frank N. Stein campaign has set up informational sessions to discuss the SCARE mandate in more depth at haunted attractions across the country leading up to the Halloween caucus. Through Frank’s connections in the movie business, these haunted attractions have evolved from the normal haunted houses to become full-scale, Hollywood-quality productions designed to scare the politics out of you.
The haunted attractions will serve as campaign headquarters during the campaign and anyone can stop by to check out more information on Frank. A full list of locations can be found here: http://www.hauntedhouseassociation.org/haunts/index.html
The Haunted House Association will also be selecting their choice for Vice President, who will follow closely along with the SCARE mandate and join Frank on the campaign trail as they travel to these haunted attractions across the country.

About the Haunted House Association
The Haunted House Association (HHA) was established to assist and advance the haunted house industry through communication, education, and information. Through HHA, haunt owners can access a worldwide network in order to exchange ideas, information, experiences and concerns. As the Halloween industry has grown over the past decade and haunted houses become full-scale, Hollywood-quality productions, HHA has served as a comprehensive resource for haunt producers as well as those interested in the industry as a whole. Frank N. Stein is a product of the Haunted House Association and not a viable candidate for President - although try telling him that. For more information, visit www.hauntedhouseassociation.org.
